The 4,600-foot glass walkway in China is actually a section of the Coiling Dragon Cliff skywalk located on Tianmen Mountain within Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan Province. It’s not exactly 4,600 feet long, but rather clings to the cliffside at that elevation, offering a heart-stopping view of the valley below.

The 328-foot (100-meter) long walkway with a width of 5.2 feet (1.6 meters) was built in 2016, replacing a portion of the existing cliffside path. Made with clear, high-strength glass, it allows visitors to walk out over a seemingly bottomless chasm.

While not for the faint of heart, the walkway offers unparalleled, panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. On a clear day, the scenery is breathtaking. However, the glass floor can be quite unsettling for those with a fear of heights, as you can see straight down through the walkway to the ground below.
