Built with over 94 million cubic meters of sand and 7 million tons of rock, the Palm Jumeirah is truly a marvel of engineering.
It’s one of Dubai’s iconic landmarks and a symbol of luxury living. This man-made archipelago, shaped like a giant palm tree, extends into the Arabian Gulf, making it part of a series of artificial islands called the Palm Islands.
The island took seven years to complete and now has approximately 50 kilometers of coastline. This amazing beauty is captured by photographer Doc Gelo.
